where are we going??!?

For anyone that hasn't heard us babbling on (and on and on and on...) about what we're doing here is the coles notes version:

We have sold our house, packed our lives into two suitcases and a carry-on each, put everything else into storage, taken a leave from work (and some might say our senses) and will be leaving Canada for a two-year stint in Indonesia. I will be teaching physics and math at Sekolah Pelita Harapan, a school located on the outskirts of Jakarta. Here's what it looks like on google earth

We will live in one of the houses to the left of the school (which is the big orange set of buildings with the pools).

Matthew and Abby will be attending the same school and Kim now has a fancy new camera so that she can indulge her love of photography.

I'm sure there will be lots more to tell once we get there but thats all for now.

only a few more days

well there's only a few more days till we take off (quite literally). It hasn't really sunk in yet with all the rushing around we've done lately, but I think it will on Monday when we leave our house. We have the best of intentions about keeping this space regularly updated so we'll see how that goes.
