When I went to school to pick up Abby today I brought my camera, and here are a few of the photos that I took. The sign marks the entrance of our taman. The fella in the uniform is one of our security guards, aka "satpam." (I mentioned them earlier and called them the wrong name...oops). He checks all vehicles going in and out. You are given a pass when you enter in a vehicle, and if you do not produce that pass when you leave, you cannot get out. That way house break-ins are reduced and the satpams get an idea of who lives there and who does not.
This second one is a house that is being built on the corner of our taman and next to the school. It's a huge brick house that has some beautiful cementwork being done on the outside. There are a lot of men on the job, each one slapping cement on the side, doing brick work or passing something to another.
On the right is a close-up of a guy on bamboo scaffolding. I thought this might be of interest to anyone who's had to deal with Worker's Comp.
Abby is at the front entrance to the school. If you were to get closer you would see a great statue in the Main Lobby...I missed the opportunity on that one today and will post it another time.
These last 2 photos are for Grandpa Tris. These are the wooden name plates that he made Matt and Abby a few years ago, and look at how perfect they fit!
Thanks for reading!
